We ship via common ground courier and LTL Freight for orders over 150 lbs or that are considered over-sized by common courier. If your checkout does not provide a shipping cost, do not worry. We will contact you directly with your information as provided. Depending on your particular order, we will do our best to find the most cost-effective carrier to save on your shipping costs and save you money. A tracking code will be provided to the buyer when the order is shipped.

Should a buyer desire to use their own shipper, Rustic Loft must be notified when the order is placed. Buyer assumes all responsibility of product and shipping and must make all arrangements required, as Rustic Loft does not assume any responsibility of product or shipping once items leave our premises.

Every one of our items are properly inspected and verified to be free of any damage before the item is properly packaged and secured for shipping. We ship to most addresses within the continental 48 states.

For courier or LTL Freight shipments, buyer must inspect the package and items for visible damages within 24 hours of the delivery time. Should any damages be noted, then it is the buyer's responsibility to file a damage report with the shipper within the 24 hour period after delivery and notify Rustic Loft of the damage report. Every effort will be made to accommodate the buyer with respect to their particular merchandise and work out a resolution with the courier.

For freight shipments, we recommend that you purchase additional insurance, which will be an extra charge to you. Any package that is received by the buyer must be immediately inspected for any visible damage and damages noted on the delivery receipt before signing. The buyer must then notify the freight carrier for a damage inspection. Any package that is visibly damaged should be refused by the buyer and buyer must notify Rustic Loft of the situation and provide a copy of the signed delivery receipt with the noted damages via email. All damage claims will be handled according to the freight shipper's policies and procedures regarding damage claims. Every effort will be made to accommodate the buyer with respect to their particular merchandise. Should buyer not note any damages on the delivery receipt and refuse delivery, then buyer shall incur additional fees to correct the delivery or be charged a 30% restocking fee.


Freight Delivery Locations
All freight deliveries are shipped with various shippers and are subject to that freight carriers polices. Remote, unpassable and unpaved addresses must make arrangements to accommodate their delivery with adequate help to unload and transport the delivered items to the buyer's final destination. Locations that are considered remote may incur an additional delivery charge for delivery, for which the buyer is responsible to pay. The freight driver is only responsible to deliver the item to the closest and safest point possible of the noted municipal address as would be reasonably possible with a freight truck, and the driver will advise as to where that point is at time of delivery. The driver will deliver your order but will not help with unloading the shipped product.


Damages
It is the customers responsibility to notify the shipper within 24 hours of the delivery time and follow the shipper's policies and procedures for filing a damages claim. Customer must notify Rustic Loft via email or phone with any delivery or product damage issues. Rustic Loft is not responsible for shipping damages, as shipping damages are the shipper's responsibility. Any LTL freight shipment must have damages noted on the delivery slip, and only refuse shipment if upon inspection, visible damage to the product has occurred.
